The University Computing Center ensures the reliable operation of technical and administrative systems important for the functioning of the top level .hr domain.
SRCE coordinates the implementation of procedures related to domain registration in the top level .hr domain, services and administers the DNS server for the top level .hr domain.
Standard tasks of managing the .hr domain include:
- implementation of domain registration procedures in accordance with the Book of regulations,
- implementation of system procedures and actions related to servers important for the functioning of the .hr domain and special subdomains of the .hr domain,
- registry management of domains in the .hr domain, accessible through the Internet,
- servicing of public web web site of the .hr domain at the address www.dns.hr/,
- user support,
- administrative and technical management of the HR-F registry, domain for physical persons (iz.hr, from.hr, name.hr),
- administrative and technical management of the HR-F registry (com.hr).
SRCE manages the .hr domain based on a contract with CARNet.
