University Computing Center web is the first Croatian web that received the IPv6 WWW Logo.
"IPv6 Enabled Logo program" objective is to accelerate deployment of IPv6 and to increase user confidence by demonstrating that IPv6 is available now and is ready to be used. The program has been initiated by the IPv6 Forum organization.

32nd international conference on Information Technology Interfaces - ITI 2010 web is published.
The ITI Conference is a scientific, multidisciplinary conference with a different special topic being offered each year. This year's special topic is "Language Technologies: An Infrastructure for Information Society". The conference will be held on June 21st - 24th, 2010, in Cavtat, Croatia.

ITI Young Scholar/Researcher Student Paper Award went to: Maria Chtepen, INTEC-IBBT, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium and Katherine Hanton, School of Electrical & Information Engineering, University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia.

On the opening day of the DORS/CLUC 2009 conference, University Computing Centre Srce was presented with "Open Informatics" award by Croatian Linux Users Group (HULK) and Croatian Society for Open Systems and Internet (HrOpen).
"Open Informatics" is awarded anually by HrOpen i HULK to citizens, organizations, companies or institutions of Republic of Croatia which have shown exceptional accomplishments in implementing, using and promoting open source technologies. |

Thursday 31. of January 2008 ITI 2008 - extended deadline for submitting papers

30th anniversary international conference Information Technology Interfaces ITI 2008 organized by SRCE will be held on June 23rd - 26th, 2008. Special anniversary topic will be "COMPUTER AT THE UNIVERSITY" which is the same as the original conference name for the 1974-1990 period.
Organizing committee announces that the deadline for submitting the conference papers has been extended to February 15, 2008.

Wednesday 16. of January 2008 CIX became a member of Euro-IX Association

The Croatian national center for Internet eXchange (CIX) – on January 1, 2008 became a member of the European Internet Exchange Association (Euro-IX).
Euro-IX is the association of the European Internet eXchange Points (IXP) founded in May 2001 with the aim of promoting the culture of open exchange of ideas and experiences among its memebers. The membership in Euro-IX will enable direct exchange of ideas, data and experiences among SRCE and other European and world centres for Internet exchange with the aim of better quality of service for the CIX members and the Croatian Internet community. |
